Poor ol' Sen. Tom Cotton just wants some political power

Poor ol’ Sen. Tom Cotton has been called everything but a child of God for writing a letter to Iran.
But what people have to understand is that the young senator just wants a little bit of political power, and Cotton did what anyone in his position would do.
He went after the top Man, President Obama. President Obama has the White House, a wife and two children, the clothes, the jewels, the rides, and the security.
And oh yeah, he also has two dogs. All poor ol’ Cotton has is a family, a Harvard Law degree, a six figure salary, and excellent medical and dental benefits.
Sure, it looks like Cotton is living the American dream. But, that’s not enough for a man like Cotton who has big dreams of becoming more than just a young senator from the great state of Arkansas.
Cotton wants to see his name in lights. He wants some of that shine that other Senators like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio have been able to get by going after President Obama.
So what does Cotton do in order to get his shine, he writes a letter to Iran that gets signed by 46 other Senators.
The letter was fairly simple: “Dear Iran, I’m writing to warn you that President Obama is really bad. I mean really, really bad. I don’t like him, and I don’t trust him.
You shouldn’t like him, and you shouldn’t trust him. He won’t be here for long. He will soon be long, long, long gone. So uhhh, yeah. Don’t sign the nuke deal. Tom Cotton in 2016.”
Since the letter has been out, Cotton has been on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. He’s been trending on twitter and even got into a twitter spat with soon-to-be Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Cotton is finally getting his shine. But like any star that burns fast and bright, his flame will soon wane.
It’s a shame. But hey, that’s how it is.
